VICE PRESIDENT, CREATIVE AND ART SERVICES HYBRID POSITION | ONSITE THREE DAYS A WEEK AT JOSTENS’ CORPORATE OFFICE (BLOOMINGTON, MN)

ABOUT YOU Are you a bold, visionary creative leader ready to shape the future of an iconic brand? As Vice President of Creative and Art Services, you’ll lead and inspire a team of creatives to develop innovative and high-impact visual experiences that drive brand identity, marketing initiatives, and organizational growth. This executive will be responsible for managing the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring the alignment of artistic direction with the overall business strategy. This executive-leader will collaborate with other senior leaders and key stakeholders, such as marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure cohesive and effective creative strategies across all channels that resonate with target audiences.

YOU WILL

Lead the creative function with strategic oversight. Champion a strong creative vision that aligns with enterprise goals and pushes innovation, quality, and brand storytelling across platforms.

Build a high-performance creative organization. Hire, develop, and retain top talent while fostering collaboration and accountability across geographically distributed teams.

Oversee brand development and visual identity. Guide the evolution of brand guidelines and execution across campaigns, packaging, video, digital, and print.

Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner closely with marketing, product development, sales, and senior executives to ensure creative work is aligned and impactful.

Set the pace for operational excellence. Streamline legacy processes to improve efficiency, manage competing priorities, and ensure on-time, on-brand delivery across creative projects.

Manage budget and business performance. Own the creative budget, manage controllable expenses, and track leading indicators tied to business performance and strategic goals.

Serve as a thought leader and change agent. Advocate for customer-first strategies, challenge internal thinking, and bring an outside-in perspective to elevate design and brand relevance.

Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Up to 25% YOU HAVE

Extensive leadership experience. 15+ years in creative, merchandising, or omni-channel leadership roles, preferably within the fashion, retail, or consumer goods industries.

Strategic creative vision. Ability to concept and build compelling product and brand experiences across diverse formats and consumer touchpoints.

A strong business mindset. Track record of leading teams that directly impact growth, margin, and brand equity.

Influence and resilience. Proven ability to lead through change, resolve conflict, and build consensus in high-stakes environments.

Executive presence. Strong communicator who can interface effectively with senior leadership and advocate for the creative vision at the enterprise level.

Operational excellence. Comfortable owning P&L, managing large-scale creative operations, and executing against tight timelines.

Tech-forward perspective. Digitally fluent and comfortable using technology to streamline workflow and enhance storytelling.

Entrepreneurial drive. Polished yet scrappy leader who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and balances vision with execution.

We believe in pay transparency. The salary range is $200,000 to $230,000 with annual bonus eligibility.
