Marketing Associate (View Boston) – Legends Global Legends Global is the premier partner to the world's greatest live events, venues, and brands. The View Boston attraction offers immersive experiential exhibits, a bistro on the 50th floor, an indoor/outdoor cocktail lounge with a 360‑degree outdoor viewing deck on the 51st floor, and a double high indoor viewing space on the 52nd floor. It welcomes locals and visitors, offering interactive experiences, sunset cocktails, and a unique Bostonian experience.

THE ROLE The Marketing Associate will develop and implement marketing strategies to promote View Boston in partnership with the Director of Marketing. This role involves developing and deploying marketing campaigns and events that drive new and repeat business throughout the year. Strong communication and organization skills are essential to ensure smooth execution across all internal departments.

Essential Functions

Local Programming: develop and execute program concepts that drive repeat local visitation throughout the year.

Marketing Event Coordination: plan and execute promotional events and campaigns to increase awareness and attendance, coordinating logistics with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and ensuring a seamless visitor experience.

Partnerships and Collaborations: establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the observatory’s visibility and attract a diverse audience.

Email Marketing: develop and deploy email marketing campaigns for various audience segments supporting attraction initiatives & report campaign analytics to the team.

Content Creation: develop engaging marketing content across various channels, including social media, websites, and promotional materials, to communicate View Boston’s programs and promotions.

Website & Online Listing Management: maintain accuracy of attraction information, promotions, ticket packages and department updates on the View Boston website and routinely monitor and update all online listings.

Social Media: collaborate with agencies and vendors to develop engaging content across all social media channels that align with brand guidelines.

Brand Consistency: ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable image for View Boston.

Market Research: conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for improvement, providing valuable insights to shape marketing strategies.

Campaign Analysis: monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using key performance indicators to assess effectiveness and make data‑driven recommendations for optimization.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: work closely with internal View Boston team, such as sales, operations, food & beverage, and IT to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and ensure a unified approach.

Communication Skills: demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, both internally and externally, to convey View Boston’s value proposition and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Adaptability: stay informed about industry trends, changes in consumer behavior, emerging technologies, and adapt marketing strategies accordingly to stay competitive in the market.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications in marketing can enhance qualifications.

1‑2 years of previous experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred. A foundational understanding of marketing principles is crucial.

Experience in the hospitality, tourism, live entertainment, sports industry, or other ticket‑selling industries.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, content creation, and a basic knowledge of SEO.

Strong creative skills to conceptualize and develop engaging marketing content, campaigns, and promotional materials that effectively capture the target audience’s attention.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for creating compelling marketing messages, collaborating with internal teams, and interacting with external stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and coordinate various aspects of marketing campaigns and events.

A good grasp of data analysis to measure campaign performance, interpret metrics, and make data‑driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.

Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including sales, operations, food & beverage, IT, and external partners.

Precision in managing branding consistency, reviewing marketing materials, and ensuring accuracy in all communications to maintain a professional image.
