Senior Customer Marketing Manager – Denodo
Denodo is looking for a smart, experienced, and highly motivated customer marketer to join the expanding product and customer marketing team. You will be responsible for customer marketing initiatives for the Americas. This will include acting as a champion for strategic customers and their success stories, and converting those stories into compelling content.
Salary range: $170,000 – $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Customer Marketing:
- Build relationships at an executive or business sponsor level and understand how the Denodo Platform led to meaningful business outcomes.
- Capture use cases and convert them into compelling content, including written success stories, blogs, presentations, and customer testimonials for internal consumption, external audiences, and partner-facing initiatives.
- Engage in outbound marketing activities such as speaking slots at tradeshows, Denodo events, joint partner events, media interviews, and participation in customer‑win press releases.
- Provide customer references for analyst evaluations such as Gartner Magic Quadrants, Gartner PeerInsights, Forrester Waves, and others.
- Encourage participation and contribution to Denovo user groups and customer meetups, both online and regionally across North America.
- Encourage participation and contribution to Denovo’s Product Advisory Council (PAC) and other customer feedback opportunities.
Product Marketing:
- Leverage deep understanding of customer use cases to contribute to positioning and messaging, creating compelling use‑case‑focused content at business and technical levels.
- Support demand‑generation activities such as webinars, tradeshows, events, and top‑of‑funnel messaging that highlight customer success stories.
- Create and maintain marketing solution briefs and case studies that highlight success stories.
- Support partner marketing initiatives by collaborating with regional partners to highlight joint customer wins.
- Collaborate with marketing communications team to support analyst and press relationships.
- Develop sales tools, including enablement presentations, solution‑selling sheets, and sales plays that showcase customer success stories.
- Participate in social marketing activities, write blogs and social posts, engage in podcasts, and other community building efforts to highlight key customer use cases and stories.
Desired Skills & Experience
- BA/BS degree in a computer‑related field; MBA a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in customer or product marketing with a focus on data integration, data management, or data analytics in the enterprise sector.
- Significant experience in customer marketing activities, including building relationships with senior stakeholders and authoring compelling content that captures use cases.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience writing product literature, customer case studies, and white papers.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to manage deliverables in a dynamic and agile environment; capable of working independently while collaborating with other team members.
- Strong analytical and synthesizing skills to translate technical content into value‑based messages.
- Knowledge and experience working with demand‑generation, product management, customer success, partner marketing, digital marketing, and creative marketing teams.
- Able to communicate effectively with remote, cross‑functional, international teams.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20% or less per month).
