BFA required; MFA in Graphic Design preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Experience with communication with college-level students and collaboration with colleagues in a collegial manner. Teaching technical concepts requires an efficient thinker with a unique and enthusiastic approach to helping students. Professional studio or business ownership is a plus.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach DESGD 488 Professional Design Practices. The position will require lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, and communicating/responding to student emails. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students.
