SUMMARY OF ROLE
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting visually appealing and engaging designs for various marketing materials. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of graphic design concepts for print and digital media, with a focus on enhancing our brand's visual identity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for the following:
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual assets, adhering to established brand guidelines and identity systems.
- Design engaging and creative graphics for a wide variety of platforms and mediums including social media, websites, email marketing, presentations, and print collateral.
- Create visual assets such as logos, icons, illustrations, infographics, and other marketing materials that enhance storytelling and brand communication.
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and creative teams to brainstorm new ideas, concepts, and campaign directions.
- Contribute to the design and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring visual cohesion across all deliverables.
- Design layouts and artwork for print materials such as brochures, flyers, packaging, posters, trade show displays, and other collateral.
- Leverage Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and related creative software to produce high-quality graphics and illustrations.
- Stay up to date with design trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas and approaches to projects.
- Provide design support to other team members and departments as needed, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets.
- Assist in the preparation and finalization of files for print and digital production, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field, preferred
- 6 months of relevant experience required
- Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator. Figma experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A creative and innovative approach to design.
- Able to prioritize, multitask, and handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Standing or sitting for extended periods
