THE OPPORTUNITY

Baron & Baron, Inc. is looking for a Junior Creative Project Manager to support our agency’s creative operations and rapid growth. At B&B, expectations are high but empowering. You will be part of a team with access to the whole agency and support our creative department. B&B, Inc. operates in a hybrid office model, and this is a full-time salaried position located at our New York City office.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Creative Project Manager, you will support the end-to-end management of creative projects, ensuring internal workflows are efficient, clear, and optimized for speed. You will act as a key connector between creative, account, and production teams—maintaining control over timelines, deliverables, and communication in a fast-paced environment. This role requires confidence, clarity, impeccable organization, and the ability to thrive under high pressure.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

Project Management & Workflow

  • Maintain a strong understanding of agency processes, standards, and resources to quickly identify the most effective plan of action for each project.
  • Partner with creative, account management, and post-production teams to define requirements, deliverables, and timelines. Influence workflow and propose improvements to increase speed and efficiency.
  • Build and manage detailed project schedules, establish deadlines and review points, and ensure workload is distributed fairly across creative and production teams.
  • Collaborate with copy, design, and creative teams to verify assets meet required specifications and formats.
  • Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards and receive proper review from senior creative leads.

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with account directors, managers, and department leads to gather, organize, and evaluate project timelines.
  • Review timelines across all active projects to assess workloads and support long-term planning with senior creative leadership.
  • Communicate proactively and confidently with creative teams, account services, digital teams, and external vendors/clients—keeping all parties aligned and informed.
  • Maintain and update the project management system (Notion) to track progress, status, and workflow.
  • Monitor the creative process, identify potential issues early, and propose clear solutions in partnership with account and creative leaders.
  • Report on workflow status, upcoming challenges, and resource needs to management and department heads.
  • Coordinate with freelancers, contractors, and additional temporary resources as needed.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of creative operations or agency experience supporting creative teams
  • Experience with project or traffic management systems (Notion a plus)
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple fast-moving assignments
  • Strong, confident communication skills and the ability to lead discussions with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable communicating directly with senior leadership in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and follow-through
  • High attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Ability to stay calm, solutions-oriented, and assertive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
