Librarian (Part-Time) - Lincoln View Elementary

Description: The School Librarian promotes high-quality library and media resources that support teaching and learning across the school community. This role develops and maintains a diverse, current collection aligned to curriculum needs and student interests, establishing clear processes for selection and resource sharing. The Librarian applies strong management principles in supervising personnel, resources, and facilities to ensure a responsive, innovative library program. They deliver district curriculum with fidelity, empowering students to become critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. In collaboration with classroom educators, the Librarian co-teaches and designs meaningful learning experiences that inspire creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Additionally, you will remain current in your field through ongoing professional growth and collaboration, communicate regularly with parents and staff, and contribute to building- and district-level meetings. Dependable attendance, supervisory responsibilities, and other assigned duties are also key components of this position.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree or enrollment in a approved program with 20 semester hours towards Library Endorsement.
- Certification: Holds or is eligible for a Nebraska Teacher's Certificate with School Librarian
- Experience: Successful teaching experience preferred
