American Society of Interior Designers is hiring: Packaging Designer in San Fran

Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates four well‑known brands, is hiring a Packaging Designer to join their packaging and labeling team located in San Francisco, CA.

This team is designing and developing graphics, print, and artwork for their packaging and the ideal candidate will have had previous experience in this space supporting labeling design and development.

Requirements:

• Packaging design, pre‑press, and printing process
• Packaging and labeling substrates, printing/finishing techniques, and structural development
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Box.com
• Uncompromising attention to detail and maintenance of the highest degree of quality
• Excellent communication in written and verbal form
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
• Demonstrate pro‑active problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work with die lines and familiarity with packaging systems
• Ability to identify production concerns and offer solutions in support of the creative concept
• Create and maintain a cooperative team environment that promotes high‑performance standards and attainment of goals
• Comfortable soliciting feedback/managing self‑development
