Overview

Our client, an American retailer that owns and operates four well-known brands, is hiring a Packaging Designer to join their packaging and labeling team located in San Francisco, CA. The team designs and develops graphics, print, and artwork for packaging and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Packaging design, pre-press, and printing process
• Packaging and labeling substrates, printing/finishing techniques, and structural development
• Create and maintain a high-quality output with attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
• Work with die lines and familiarity with packaging systems
• Identify production concerns and offer solutions in support of the creative concept
• Create and maintain a cooperative team environment that promotes high-performance standards and attainment of goals
• Comfortable soliciting feedback and managing self-development

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Box.com
• Uncompromising attention to detail and maintenance of the highest degree of quality
• Ability to work with die lines and familiarity with packaging systems
• Ability to identify production concerns and offer solutions in support of the creative concept
