Tour Marketing Director
Outback Presents is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Tour Marketing Director to lead marketing initiatives for our live tours and events across North America, spanning multiple genres and venue sizes. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for music and live entertainment who can drive ticket sales and enhance brand visibility for our diverse roster through innovative marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing:
Develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies and advertising plans, leveraging traditional, digital, and unconventional tactics tailored to each artist, venue, and market to maximize ticket sales.
Team Management:
Lead and Direct marketing execution across internal team members, fostering an artist-first culture with a focus on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and results.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Effectively communicate with artists, agents, managers, venue partners, and leadership to lead marketing calls, deliver insights, and track results.
Performance Analysis:
Proactively monitor ticket sales, analyze campaign effectiveness, and provide insights on market trends and audience behavior to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
Operational Excellence:
Implement and enforce best practices in marketing operations, budget management, and strategic planning.
Partnership Development:
Build and maintain relationships with industry vendors to optimize campaign efficiency and maximize impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in entertainment or live event marketing with a proven track record in ticket sales and artist strategy.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and drive performance.
Deep understanding of digital media, market research, social media strategy, and customer data analysis.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset.
