Sr Marketing Specialist - Advertising - ComEd (Hybrid)

Plan, execute and manage customer education advertising strategies and campaigns to support programs such as financial assistance, energy management, electrification, mobile app, and other offerings as needed. Coordinate advertising plans and tactics across multiple departments, align advertising content and media with marketing objectives, and measure effectiveness of advertising efforts. Manage creative and media agencies, and internal processes, to ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and align with brand standards and company goals. Own and manage advertising budgets, including contracts and invoices, to ensure all campaigns remain within budget. Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Primary Duties
Develop, manage and implement multiple marketing plans supporting Company programs with residential, business and public sector customers. (40%)
Develop and manage marketing plan tactics and manage marketing vendors supporting development and execution of tactics. (40%)
Manage program marketing budgets including budget development, invoice processing, accruals and forecasting. (10%)
Help develop and leverage market research to achieve marketing plan objectives. (10%)
Job Scope Position will work across multiple departments, internal stakeholders, and leadership to align advertising support with marketing plan objectives and strategies. Plan and execute multiple advertising campaigns, in partnership with both media and creative agencies, targeting residential and business customers. Monitor, review, and oversee external advertising support requests. Manage advertising campaign budgets and contracts including invoice reviews, forecast/actual adjustments, and monitoring budget tracking. Review metrics reports and agency recommendations for campaign optimization. Other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other relevant field
4-7 years relevant experience or equivalent
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
In lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an advertising agency environment
Understanding of both advertising creative and media processes and metrics
Experience with vendor management · Strong business acumen
Budget management experience · Knowledge of customer segmentation strategies
Familiarity with utility industry a plus

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $82,400.00/Yr. – $113,300.00/Yr.
