About PX at Adyen Our Product Experience (PX) organization consists of full‑stack builders who own end‑to‑end product discovery and execution from research, design, to content. We build the future of payments, approaching projects as opportunities to exceed our customers’ expectations.

About the Team and Role Join our international PX team based in Amsterdam, Chicago, and Madrid as a Senior Product Experience Designer. Your focus will be on overarching design services and products such as Homepage, Navigation, Communication Platform, Notification, Supporting Ticket, Help & Education, and design system.

What You’ll Do

Deeply understand and own the UX for complex product ecosystems, incorporating advanced technology like AI to enhance customer experience with measurable value.

Partner closely with Product, Technology, and Data Analytics teams to define a cohesive short‑term tactical roadmap and a compelling long‑term vision.

Leverage data‑driven insights (qualitative and quantitative) to design simple, intuitive, and highly accessible interfaces, fostering a data‑informed culture.

Raise the bar for quality across design, research, and content, while streamlining processes to maximize team efficiency.

Seek feedback and foster co‑creation with cross‑functional partners across Engineering, Product, and Operations throughout the design lifecycle.

Document and share work in progress to maintain transparency and alignment across dependent teams.

Articulate solution decisions, methodologies, and tangible value to PX, cross‑functional partners, and senior stakeholders.

Mentor, coach, and inspire fellow team members, setting elevated standards of design quality and sharing knowledge.

This Is You

Bachelor or Master’s degree in interaction (product) design or a related field.

5+ years designing complex hardware/software solutions, preferably in SaaS or B2B products, simplifying intricate workflows.

A strong sense of mission, taking ownership and fostering collaboration.

Curiosity‑driven growth, seeking new insights and learning from failures.

Thrives in uncertainty, adapting swiftly and proactively.

Actionable intent, focusing on solving meaningful problems with measurable impact.

Location & Work Expectations

Chicago, Illinois – office‑first company.

Some international travel required.

Compensation

Base salary in Chicago: $180,000–$243,000, plus RSUs.
