Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership to Sales, Marketing, and Events teams with full accountability for budgets, P&L performance, forecasting, advertising, and long‑term business planning.

Develop and execute bold, data‑driven sales and marketing strategies that firmly position the resort as a market leader in the luxury space, ensuring revenue targets across rooms, F&B, and ancillary departments are achieved.

Oversee all commercial functions including hotel sales contracts, revenue plans, pricing, inventory management, and account allocation strategies to maximize topline performance and profitability.

Drive new business development by identifying, cultivating, and securing opportunities across corporate, group, incentive, luxury leisure, and international markets.

Foster and strengthen client relationships, building strategic partnerships with travel agencies, corporate accounts, destination organizations, and community leaders to increase visibility and expand market share locally, nationally, and globally.

Lead innovative marketing efforts that showcase the resort’s multimillion‑dollar renovation and reimagined guest experience, leveraging digital storytelling, brand partnerships, and integrated campaigns.

Recruit, coach, and inspire a best‑in‑class commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, accountability, and high performance that aligns with the property’s luxury positioning.

Design and implement training programs, performance targets, and incentive plans to ensure sales excellence, continuous professional growth, and retention of top talent.

Serve as a trusted representative in ownership, brand, and leadership forums, delivering clear and strategic updates while ensuring alignment with ownership expectations and corporate objectives.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, and Guest Experience leaders to ensure seamless integration, consistently exceeding guest expectations while driving both short‑term results and long‑term brand loyalty.

Champion innovation and adaptability, keeping pace with market trends, evolving guest behaviors, and competitor activity to keep the resort ahead in a dynamic luxury landscape.

Experience & Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in Sales, Marketing, and Events—ideally within Hyatt—demonstrating success in managing teams and full P&L accountability.

Strong business and financial acumen, with direct ownership‑facing experience, including preparing revenue updates, strategic plans, and performance reviews.

People‑first leadership style, recognized for building trust, coaching teams, and inspiring results through collaboration and accountability.

Minimum of five years in a senior Sales Leadership role with a track record of driving revenue growth and market share.

Luxury hospitality background preferred, with experience positioning properties at the high end of the market.

Technical expertise with systems such as Envision, Opera, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Base salary starting at $140,600, commensurate with experience.
