Position Summary:
This position is responsible for moving equipment, parts, machinery, etc. at our vast, 63-acre facility. Detailed Description: Perform preventative maintenance on operating equipment. Understand storage locations inside and outside. Fill requisitions and moves material to assigned areas. Understand paperwork process, paper flows to system completely. Properly disposes boxes. Perform stock inquiries using barcode guns. Maintain inventory and locates material accurately, including audit and cycle counts. Operate all forklifts. Operate 30-ton tuning forks. Operate carry deck cranes. Complete material put away using a barcode gun. Operate front-end loaders and articulating pay loaders. Identify and accurately labels age sensitive material. Safely operate powered floor sweeper in the warehouse. Understand safe working loads of slings, knows what chain slings to , cables 3/16 to 2 and anchor shackles 3/16 to 4 strengths are for lifting. Load rigs safely (50-tons and above) for setting or moving equipment without damage, using spreader bars and sling lifts. Issue material using bar code guns. Perform bin-to-bin transfers using bar code guns. Operate rubber tire cranes. Operate crawler cranes. Attendance is an essential function of the job. Ability and willingness to engage in highly energetic pursuits on the waterfront.
