Requirements Candidate Profile:

Extensive experience in pest control, including field operations and technical oversight.

Deep knowledge of pest biology, behavior, control methods, and safety protocols.

Ability to serve as a subject‑matter expert for pest management protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with a willingness to work hands‑on in the field.

Initial Goals (90-120 Days)

Launch the new technician training program.

Certify trainers and finalize curriculum and standards.

Establish a training calendar for the remainder of the year.

Spend one full day with technicians at key client sites to build familiarity with accounts and staff.

Six-Month Goals

Complete a second round of quality control audits.

Finalize and deliver the 30‑hour virtual course.

Review and approve all products for a master list across territories.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage technician training programs that include weekly virtual sessions and monthly in‑person classes, with a strong focus on certified education.

Quarterly travel to branches outside New York, collaborate with field staff to resolve client issues, and engage directly with sensitive accounts such as hospitals and audited food facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a formal technician training program, including curriculum and standards.

Conduct weekly virtual training sessions and monthly in‑person classes, ensuring sessions carry certification credits whenever possible.

Create and maintain a training calendar for all sessions.

Design and deliver an internal 30‑hour virtual course (bi‑monthly).

Designate and certify field trainers and supervisors.

Accompany new hires during training and approve readiness before independent field work.

Perform field audits and quality control checks, particularly for large or sensitive accounts.

Maintain training records, credentials, and oversee licensing compliance.

Review and approve products for team use, creating a master list by territory.

Assist with client issue resolution, always involving a technician or service manager.

Build strong relationships with major accounts and ensure proper pest control practices.

Write IPM plans and review RFPs for technical accuracy.

Provide technical oversight for sensitive clients, including hospitals and audited food facilities.

Participate in evening services and travel as needed (travel expenses covered).
