The salary for this position is from $87,000.00 to $96,000.00 annually and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

A Marketing Manager will be responsible in assisting the Director of Sales and Marketing in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing all Marketing Planning & Execution strategies for the hotel. Responsible for the development, management, and execution of all aspects of the marketing/branding strategies to include Marketing Budgets, social media, Websites, Digital & Print Advertising, Collateral, Video/Photography Assets, etc. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Develops strategic marketing plans and establish annual marketing budgets along with GM, DOSM, and DORM. Marketing plans should be annual, monthly and by segment of deployment inclusive of cost, deployment strategies (print, digital, and/or social media) through the review of competitive data, demand analysis and market mix management.

Creates, manages and implements media/marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to increase revenues, awareness, and expansion of property products and/or services. Works with on-property and regional revenue management to develop offers or leverage off-the-shelf offers, based on hotel-level needs.

Manages strategic direction on all marketing related areas including but not limited to: social media, Websites, Digital & Print Advertising, Email & Collateral.

Identifies outside agencies and responsible for development of agenda strategy and Work/Liaison with internal corporate partners related to internal corporate partners, including but not limited to Brand, Destination, and ECG.

Oversees the strategy, budget, and development of visual assets and arranges photo & video shoots as needed/appropriate. Oversees the development and content strategy of hotel level websites.

Coordinates influencer strategy with public relations team to leverage social media opportunities. Conducts paid marketing surveys on current and new service levels and product concepts.

On-Property Experiences: Works alongside operations to develop curated on-property experiences and activations.

B2B Sales & Catering Marketing Support: Collaborates with sales leaders to provide marketing support to all sales-impacted market segments, including but not limited to, BT (Business Transient) accounts, GDS, B2B Groups, and Luxury.

Content & Asset Strategy: Manages execution of the marketing-specific assets and content, including but not limited to: Website Content, 3rd Party Site Content, Social Media Content, Digital & Traditional Advertising.

Software/Program Skills/Knowledge:

Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook)

Social Media Websites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc)

CMS Platforms

What are we looking for?

College degree in Marketing or Hotel Management preferred

Experience of working in a similar marketing position, preferably in the hospitality sector

Proven knowledge of creating, leading and managing fundamental and complex projects to tight deadlines

Experience of developing, creating and managing marketing campaigns with associated costs and working to budget restraints

Complete understanding of key functions relating to marketing strategies and initiatives whilst managing multiple work streams

Experience in developing and implementing effective and realistic marketing plans and strategies, including budget evaluation, management and reporting

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management

Outstanding communication skills in all areas of writing, listening and speaking English.

Communicate key information effectively to all levels of management using a variety of communication tools

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, budget management, project and time management

Able to think analytically, critically and strategically when faced with unique opportunities, challenges, prioritizing and identifying productive solutions

Ability to influence others in key situations whilst maintaining positive relationships

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to include strong leadership, cultural sensitivity

Execute calculated risks and pre-determine successful outcome

Ability to relate to the marketing world and adapt to changing priorities quickly and with ease
