The Hilton Motif Seattle is looking for its next Senior Sales Manager to join their dynamic team! Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of downtown Seattle, this stylish hotel is nestled between Pike Place Market and Union Street and is surrounded by the city\'s finest restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, museums, and attractions. This sleek urban style hotel features amenities including a vibrant award-winning restaurant offering an extensive outdoor patio with sweeping city views, over 28,000 square feet of meeting space, and 319 newly redesigned rooms. The annual salary range for this position is $87,000-$93,000 + bonus incentives and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Hilton offers a best-in-market SIP (Short-Term Incentive Plan) to our Sales, Catering & Events teams to reward our employees for their contributions to our company’s financial success. The Plan includes a quarterly component worth 20% of bonus eligible earnings. The quarterly incentive may have multiple individually weighted objectives, meaning multiple opportunities to earn a payout. Benefits

Hilton offers a best-in-market SIP (Short-Term Incentive Plan) with a quarterly component worth 20% of bonus eligible earnings. A revenue goal of 200k USD or greater is required for payout potential to be uncapped. Payout as a percentage of BEE is capped at 60% at 250% achievement if the quarterly revenue goal is below 200k USD. What will I be doing?

Represents the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts, and maximizing revenue in rooms, public space, food and beverage, and ancillary products and services. Responsibilities include the following: Solicit, respond to, and negotiate with customers requiring large and complex group accommodations (generally over 50 guest rooms) with or without meeting space and/or on-site catering; negotiate contracts and commission agreements with third-party agencies. Prepare proposals and contracts, advise prospective customers of hotel guest rooms, meeting space, banquet date, space and rate availability; develop and quote prices. Engage in outside sales activities, discuss business opportunities, and entertain customers in local and assigned markets; conduct site visits and H.O.S.T. programs; participate in tradeshows, industry and customer events. Attend sales departmental and other scheduled meetings to support business operations; conduct site inspections with potential customers. Provide guidance to sales managers and administrative staff as needed by the Director of Sales and Marketing. Demonstrate strong sales, communication, and networking skills with the ability to qualify, negotiate, and secure new revenue for the hotel. Customer and Account Management: create customer value, differentiate Hilton from the competition, and serve the organizations represented by customers. Prospecting: identify potential customers, prepare and implement call strategies, and generate leads. Negotiations: understand customer expectations and adapt to a changing market; engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal as needed. Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau, and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business; develop outside sales calls, industry tradeshows, and customer events; maintain a monthly, quarterly, and annual business plan for designated markets; maintain an up-to-date pipeline to meet objectives. Coordinate customer specifications (including room, food and beverage, and meeting space) via lead management system; enter and maintain account and booking information in Delphi FDC according to defined standards. Research, solicit, and generate new leads; maximize room revenue and exceed lead-generation goals. Create and execute plans to shift share from competitors; engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs and win new business. Negotiations

Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with end-user customers and intermediaries. Provide solutions that achieve financial goals while strengthening customer relationships; involve Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal when needed. What are we looking for?
