What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Maintain detailed records and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as needed during critical situations.
Remain alert to potential security-related threats or risks specific to a technology, media, and telecom environment.
Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
