Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Sleep Tech Specialty: Sleep Study Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Must-Have: 2 plus years of experience in PSG, CPAP titration, and BiPAP. Comfortable with first-time travelers. Open to duo submissions, though simultaneous scheduling is not guaranteed. Description: Department includes a sleep tech unit. Ratios are 2 to 1. Common diagnoses include obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, and restless leg syndrome. Staffing pattern includes an RN on Monday nights for higher acuity patients. Staff are not required to work alone, and additional techs may be available based on census. The environment serves outpatient patients of all ages. All patient mobility types are accommodated, including wheelchair and bed-dependent individuals. Equipment used includes Nihon Kohden, Watchpat, and Nomad. Shift hours are from 1830 to 0630. Scheduling is managed by leadership without self-scheduling options. Weekend requirements include Sunday nights, with no automatic assignments on Friday or Saturday unless requested. Holiday work is voluntary, and operations usually close on holidays unless staffing requests otherwise. Dress code allows for any solid color that is clean and professional. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
