About The Position Job Title: Pediatric Sleep Technologist Profession: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Specialty: Pediatric Sleep Tech/Polysomnographic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience License: ND state license or willingness to obtain prior to start Certifications: BLS (AHA), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT Must-Have: BLS certification. RPSGT certification. ND state license or willingness to obtain. Minimum 2 years of pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience. Description: Perform quality diagnostic polysomnographic studies. Conduct titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests. Record and provide relevant and accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders. Utilize computerized charting and Natus software for sleep studies. Employee may be the only pediatric sleep technologist but will work with adult sleep technologists. No call or weekend requirements. Unit has two pediatric beds. Dress code consists of dark gray scrubs. Candidates must have pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience. Training will be provided by the existing team. Cancellation policy allows for call-offs up to 12 hours without penalty. Charting is performed using an electronic system.
