Location: Pasadena, CA (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients – an industry leading independent marketing and media company specializing in data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions. They are seeking a high‑performing Vice President – Media Sales to drive net‑new business acquisition and close strategic, high‑value accounts. This is a senior‑level, individual‑contributor role where you will own the complete sales cycle, partnering closely with internal strategy, data science, and creative teams to deliver integrated media solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle sales efforts focused exclusively on net‑new business acquisition.
- Identify, qualify, pitch, and close complex media deals valued at $500K+.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling, integrated proposals spanning performance media, social, influencer, and AI‑powered solutions.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers across priority verticals.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in sales or business development roles, including 5+ years in agency or media sales.
- Proven track record of achieving $1M+ in annual new‑business sales quotas.
- Experience closing large‑scale media deals ($500K+ SOWs).
- Strong understanding of paid/organic media, social, influencer, and integrated campaign ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and C‑suite presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office 365.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary ($150,000 – $250,000) + uncapped commission.
