Base Pay Range
$80.00/hr - $90.00/hr

Pay: up to $89/.96/HR
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years experience in design and network support functions and interpretation of building construction, electrical, and infrastructure blueprints.
Knowledge of EIA/TIA standards and building codes and wiring requirements.
Fiber optic cabling and connectors.
Proficiency in Bluebeam and AutoCAD is required for drawing reviews and collaboration.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working with cabling and network services within an amusement park or within corporate offices at an enterprise company.
RCDD certification or BICSI certification demonstrating knowledge in the design, integration and implementation of telecommunications and data communications technology systems and related infrastructures / in progress to get RCDD or BICSI cert.
Job Responsibilities
This person will join the Network Design Services group at a major entertainment company. They will be required to design horizontal low voltage cabling systems & supporting components, optical riser backbone systems, OSP optical campus backbones & pathways, cable pathways, cable tray conveyance systems, conduits, pull-boxes, outlets, workstation feeds-devices, floor termination devices, etc within the corporate offices and potentially a little bit at a local So-Cal amusement park.
They will also program and design Telecom Rooms including overall room layouts, power, HVAC, grounding, racks, runways, HCM, VCM, etc. Their day to day consists of small, medium, to large projects in an amusement park - they may be on site quite often working on cabling designs.
Day to day also consists of acting as the single point of contact to Real Estate Design & Delivery organization for small to medium size construction projects, developing ROM costs for design and delivery of a complete turn‑key network infrastructure, determining equipment, materials and labor costs, managing project expenses, producing Telecom Room layouts, rack elevation plans, optical riser backbone drawings, labeling schemes, detailed materials BOMs, Division 27 documents, cutover plans, runlists and other documents required to define project design.
They’ll engage and collaborate with the Network Engineering and Wireless teams in defining required equipment and related costs, develop switch port requirements, specify UPS needed, review WIFI AP plans, program pathways to support final AP plans, specify AP mounting brackets‑kits, coordinate with the Architect to ensure construction documents accurately reflect the required physical layer design, and collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to obtain competitive bids. This team is collaborative, creative, and the position requires 5 days onsite work weekly and may occasionally require local So‑Cal travel from time to time outside of the Burbank/Glendale area.
