The Senior Director is instrumental in developing strategies, planning, and ensuring proper implementation of digital marketing programs to meet and exceed client goals. A successful Senior Director will have great attention to detail and be able to take complete ownership of educating junior team members and getting tasks completed to bring value to our clients.
Team Management
Strong leadership skills, and a track record of identifying and developing high‑performing talent with monthly leadership meetings to propel talent growth
Able to manage a team of planner/buyers across HCP business
Learns process works with Directors and ADs to define roles and responsibilities by level
Leans in to inspire team growth, ensure confidence in roles and training to mitigate gaps, and maintains a motivated team
Advocates for team, manages expectations, intervening to problem solve with Directors as needed
Able to have the challenging conversations that recognize team capabilities and manages team accordingly
Regular engagement with client lead to manage for any budgetary changes and projections
Provide inputs and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of demand‑side platforms
Client Representative
Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders at same time and delegate appropriately across the team to service business needs
Able to quickly recognize diverse client communication styles and mirror their needs
Ensures communication with clients is agile, responsive and proactive in avoiding issues and preempting needs and training team to follow suit
Reviews all team work with director to ensure it addresses requirements and is professionally presented
Initiates opportunities to meet with clients educating on events in marketplace that might trigger interest, awareness or educate as a means of building relationships
Able to drive incremental business growth beyond organic budget fluctuations
Work from Ridgefield offices every 2nd Wednesday at a minimum meeting with client stakeholders to build influence and reputation that will recognize opportunities to drive business growth
Have accountability over client budgets learning client tools for budget management and being OMD key champion for tools and supporting billing management
Thought Leader
Able to create perspectives that resonate with client business and knowledge gaps in a concise and articulate way
Knowledgeable on digital media and data technology and able to recognize client gaps, identify solutions and manage execution
Create client programming to drive confidence, reputation and engagement with media as primary business partner
Track innovation within the industry, evaluate and identify new partners and technology that will drive best‑in‑class channel strategies for OMD and our client(s)
Share OMG thought leadership relevant to HCP business with brand marketers and media CoE along with contextual relevance
Able to identify the intersections between DTC and HCP, reinforce the value to client through the efficiencies and intelligence accomplished through the holistic lens
Media Expertise
Experience leading planning team in developing consumer journey for optimal investment strategy designed towards achieving client KPIs
Technical and strategic understanding of digital buying required, particularly in paid social, direct and programmatic media
Familiar with HCP partners, capabilities, data offerings, campaign recommendations and performance to challenge teams where opportunity lies
Evaluate partners and how to optimize partnerships beyond savings to drive insights and innovation
Support marketing science in establishing the necessary data pipes to share performance information with BI Analytics teams
Attend strategic brand marketing meetings to build relationships and instill confidence in campaign and brand knowledge and ability to mentor team and drive confident business investment
Ability to work with legal, sourcing and directors to manage scope revisions and fulfillment
Manage team deliverables on time for billing reconciliation, A&I dashboard delivery including spend working with PM to ensure teams leave sufficient time to accommodate deadlines
Work side by side with Marketing Science team to ensure tight coordination of campaign setup, adjustments and optimization performance is efficient and effective
Demonstrable, in‑depth understanding or strong working knowledge of the following:
Marketing technologies & tools (Web analytics, tag management, ad servers, attribution)
Strong program management and organizational skills, with ability to drive multiple simultaneous efforts to fruition
Direct brand marketing principles and strategies
Familiarity with pharma digital programs and partners
Exceptional analytical skills, and confidence acting on data and insights
Working knowledge of 3rd party verification tools, including Moat, IAS, DCM, DoubleVerify
Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau
Operational Excellence
Create and manage HCP Design process
Familiarity with HCP workflow, roles, responsibilities, deadlines and templates required to ensure streamlined delivery of service
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effective of team collaboration and delivery
Ability to identify opportunities for enhanced performance with client stakeholders and to recommend external shifts to support a more productive working relationship with clients
Experience developing and facilitating organizational change and developing integrated client workstreams
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job‑related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range: $120,000—$230,000 USD.
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in‑office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in‑office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in‑office days based on business needs.
