Job Description:
Our Fortune 100 Banking Client is seeking a User Experience (UX/UI) Designer to support end-to-end customer experience initiatives. Candidates with prior experience at Capital One or similar large financial institutions are highly preferred. This role requires strong hands-on design expertise, user research skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UX/UI design and development across digital platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability assessments, persona development, and design validation.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business partners to deliver intuitive, customer-centric experiences.
- Apply strong emotional intelligence to manage stakeholder expectations and cross-functional alignment.
- Utilize tools such as Lucid Spark, Figma, Google Suite, Jira.
- Design within and apply Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven background in UX/UI design, user research, and journey mapping.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, Lucid Spark, and Jira.
- Experience designing within the Salesforce Lightning Design System.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and manage multiple partners.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio required showcasing end-to-end UX/UI design work.
- Former Capital One experience is a strong plus.
