The Digital Marketing team oversees creative, programming, and operations of Disney Entertainment’s YouTube channels. The Operations, Publishing, & Optimization part of the YouTube team is responsible for channel management & operations, performance packaging, publishing, and more. Additionally, this team works closely with YouTube Creative & Project Management teams, as well as TWDC Brand and Franchise, Studios, Consumer Products, Experiences, Governance, Legal, Music, and Finance. The team is responsible for adhering to TWDC and YouTube policies.

This role is a project hire with an end date of 10/2026.

This role can be based out of our Glendale or New York office.

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Coordinator on the YouTube Operations, Publishing, & Optimization team will support the Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing team in executing YouTube channel publishing and operations. This role supports the team with day‑to‑day channel operations responsibilities including content uploads and publishing, daily channel management, distribution calendar coordination, metadata management, Airtable usage, monetization settings, and more. This role will work in tandem with Creative on performance packaging, data‑driven optimization, and more.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator should be well‑versed in the YouTube ecosystem, with a solid understanding of content formats, uploading, playlisting, geo‑targeting, policy setting, publication, and community. Additionally, the Coordinator should have an eye on YouTube’s latest content creator recommendations, new tools, and best practices updates to implement where advantageous to the channels.

The Coordinator should be collaborative, results‑driven, and detail‑oriented with a strong understanding of a variety of social, digital, and emerging platforms, and corresponding trends. An affinity for a wide array of Disney brands, as well as YouTube‑first content programming is beneficial. The Coordinator should be able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment, collaborate effectively, troubleshoot as needed, and manage up to leadership appropriately.

Responsibilities

Publish content on a variety of Disney Entertainment YouTube channels as assigned by leadership and through request processes

Facilitate content upload deliverables, and manage settings including monetization, geo‑targeting, playlisting, chat & commenting, community, etc.

Collaborate with Creative team on performance packaging (thumbnail, title, metadata, etc.)

Manage day‑to‑day channel operations to align with initiatives, swap channel art, playlist/shelf refresh et c.

Coordinate day‑to‑day implementation of channel‑specific publishing calendar, inclusive of video and Posts content

Collaborate with other teams on alignment and brainstorming around original series + new title launches

Review analytics for channel content for strategic recommendations

Maintenance of Airtable records as they pertain to content tracking/publishing

Channel library optimization

All other duties, as assigned, by manager

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in social/digital marketing

Solid technical understanding of YouTube channel management and backend operations

Previous experience with CRM tools, e.g., Airtable

Outstanding organization and communication skills

Strong language and copy‑writing skills

Strong understanding of social media platforms, specifically YouTube

Impeccable eye for detail coupled with the ability to communicate clearly and implement strategies as directed

Solid time‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly

Ability to multi‑task and pivot quickly as needed

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, digital‑forward environment

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word), Google Docs, and file‑sharing/content management platforms (like Box)

Previous experience with Keynote/PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Airtable preferred

Flexible schedule to support occasional early/late publishing requests (PST/EST coverage)

Preferred Qualifications

AA/BA in Digital Marketing or related field is a plus, but not required
