Orchard Farm School District is seeking a certified teacher - Librarian to join our team in the 2026-2027 school year at Two Rivers Elementary!
Our mission is to empower each learner to excel in diverse communities. Two Rivers Elementary is our "NEW" Elementary building opening August 2026. Located in St, Charles, MO with a current enrollment of approximately 2,600 students our district is mostly situated between Highway 370 and north to West Alton, MO where the two rivers meet. From farmland to planned communities our district has a unique culture to embrace old traditions with the new traditions.

Teachers are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. This includes implementing effective curriculum, managing a positive classroom environment, utilizing technology for instruction and record-keeping, and actively collaborating with the school community to support student success.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree or higher Appropriate Missouri Teaching Certificate Knowledge of state standards, federal and state regulations and law Knowledge of subject matter content and assessment strategies Knowledge of best practices in curriculum and instruction Ability to relate to students, staff, and parents in a positive manner Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form Ability to follow written and oral communication Ability to problem solve An individual who holds this position is required to:
Provide instruction to K-4 students Create and implement a classroom management plan Create lesson plans and activities to implement and supplement instruction Participate in building, grade level and subject area committees as needed Participate in professional development activities Maintain accurate student records Complete and submit forms and required reports in a timely manner Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and/or other educational concerns Participate as a member of an IEP team, 504 team or other student assistance teams as requested Implement special educational plans such as 504 plans, individual educational programs and individual health plans Report suspected abuse, neglect, discrimination and harassments as directed by Board policy Prepare lesson plans for use by a substitute teacher Subject area teachers may have additional duties and responsibilities PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Move around a Library frequently. Allocation of movement are generally 40% sitting, 30% walking and 30% standing. Perform some lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Speak and hear in a sometimes noise environment with numerous conversations and activities May occasionally be outside for short periods of time to perform tasks such as supervising recess and loading/unloading students. SALARY SCHEDULE
