Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Product Manager. The Product Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of our cutting‑edge solution for real‑time fact‑checking, content verification, collaborative approaches to misinformation, and forensic analysis to expose its sources. They will work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure that product development aligns with our goal of providing reliable and trustworthy information to our users.

Demonstrable ability to communicate goals, requirements, and desired outcomes to cross‑functional project teams and leadership.
Experience of collaborating with multiple internal and external business teams to develop product requirements and overall product roadmap, while also driving the implementation and delivery of products.
Ability to develop detailed business requirements and user stories to create product specifications and feature requests.
Proven ability to use analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to extract data and build metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge legacy requirements.
Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact.
A data‑driven approach to problem‑solving and communications.
Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
Have a positive, can‑do, user‑centered attitude.
Willing to have fun and volunteer 15 hours/week.
Frontend Experience
Great design mindset and propels high‑standard designs. Hands‑on with UX/I and Design tools – Figma, Sketch etc.
Experience in publishing websites, content management, and product marketing. This role will have a few overlapping responsibilities with Product marketing and GTM efforts.
Technical understanding of APIs, SDKs, React.Js as these are part of our frontend with UI/X.
Working experience in instrumentation and decision‑making using clickstream analytics using Google/Adobe/Amplitude etc.
Qualifications
5+ years of working experience in the Tech industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong understanding of product development processes, from ideation to launch.
Worked on UI/UX front end elements, with some minimal experience with it at least 1-2 years directly impacting design.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
