Major Responsibilities
Handle daily press operations for the organization, including media relations and program promotion.
Manage social media posts and program webpage updates (www.sdcityknights.com).
Assist in recruitment and transfer initiatives and support game event statistics recording.
Liaise with CCCAA for sports information and with local media and neighboring colleges.
Provide assistance to student athletes in promotion to four‑year universities.
Maintain and run social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram) for the sports program and connect these activities to instructional course information.
Produce videos for advertising and campaigns.
Maintain athlete and team archives, history, and individualized profiles.
Provide necessary compliance activities related to rules and statistical analysis.
Participate in Athletics‑related meetings and occasionally cover multiple games in a single day.
Ensure knowledge of requirements for all 13 sports teams.
Other Details Pertaining To Position
Enter live game statistics via computer-based code entry (800–1,000 keystrokes per basketball game).
Take team photos and create individualized interview profiles.
Liaise as game administration/observer when the Athletic Director is split between locations.
Attend away contests as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Either: a Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of professional experience, or an Associate degree and at least six (6) years of professional experience.
Equivalent qualifications are acceptable.
Foreign Degrees
Applicants with foreign degrees must have their coursework evaluated by a recognized professional association (NACES or ACEI). An original evaluation must be presented at the time of hire.
Equivalency
If you do not possess the exact degrees listed or expect to receive the required degree prior to teaching, complete the “Request for Equivalency Form” and attach it to your application.

Pay Information
Initial salary placement will be at the first class/step on the Adjunct College Salary Schedules, effective the first month after receipt of official transcripts and verifications. Refer to the current salary schedule for details.
