UI/UX Designer
Location: Boston, MA | Employment Type: Contract – 06 Months with possible extension
Job Description
We're seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to help shape our cutting‑edge FCAT product for technical traders. You'll be instrumental in shaping the user experience, bringing clarity to complex financial concepts through intuitive UX and a passion for user‑centered design. This role requires a blend of design system stewardship, new feature development, and a commitment to understanding the needs of users.
Expertise You Have
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio that showcases interface design work
- Expert‑level skills in Figma and demonstrable experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work with UI/front‑end dev teams to support bringing designs to production
- A solid grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and product thinking
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup
- A self‑starter who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Experience or interest in financial services, technology, and emerging tech (bonus points for trading knowledge)
- Great communication skills and curiosity about storytelling through design
