Job Description Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive demand, adoption, and growth of our global Pay Later offerings. You will work cross‑functionally with product, sales, and marketing teams to position PayPal’s Pay Later solutions in the market and create compelling narratives that resonate with consumers and merchants.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates
Conduct market and competitor research to inform product strategy
Collaborate with teams to gather customer feedback and refine product positioning
Support product launches in new markets by coordinating with global and regional teams
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase product adoption and market share
Provide expertise on product capabilities and value propositions
Monitor product performance metrics and identify growth opportunities
Create clear positioning, messaging, and strategies for product launches
Ensure commercial readiness by delivering marketing materials and tools
Align cross‑functional efforts to support product marketing goals
Expected Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and usage of PayPal’s Pay Later solutions
Create compelling product positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to key customer segments and markets
Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and marketing initiatives
Collaborate with product teams to identify feature enhancements and new offerings based on market needs and customer feedback
Design and optimize customer journeys across multiple touch points to drive conversion and retention
Develop compelling campaign narratives that scale across various channels, including content, digital, social, email, and in‑product messaging
Work with regional teams to adapt marketing strategies for local markets, ensuring cultural relevance and regulatory compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in fintech, payments, or consumer financial products
Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital products in competitive markets
Strong understanding of the payments landscape, consumer financing options, and e‑commerce trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
Proven track record of developing compelling messaging and content that drives customer action
Experience with A/B testing, user research, and other customer insight methodologies
Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence without direct authority
Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation & Benefits PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The total compensation includes an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250.
