This position will be based in our New York City office, which has a three-day (Tuesday-Thursday), in-office schedule. A bit about the Portfolio:

Shoptalk and Groceryshop are high-profile conferences in Hyve’s portfolio. This role will be responsible for marketing all of the Shoptalk events (Spring, Fall, Europe, and Luxe) as well as Groceryshop. Shoptalk covers all aspects of retail innovation, while Groceryshop dives into the transformation of the grocery and CPG industries. Our events are held in world-class event destinations such as Las Vegas, Nashville, Barcelona, and Abu Dhabi. Role Overview

Strategy and Operations

Oversee the development and implementation of global marketing strategies for Shoptalk and Groceryshop. Direct brand marketing, product marketing, PR, lead generation, and both acquisition and retention for delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors. Oversee all marketing channels, including email, social, digital properties, content marketing, and paid platforms. Be a lead contributor in identifying and developing the synergies across the Connected Commerce portfolio of events. Work closely with the retailer and consumer brands (R&CB), design, operations, sales, and technology teams to evolve and align our vision and messaging. Leadership, Team Management, and Cross-Functional Collaboration

Manage, mentor, and lead a growing, dynamic, and fast-paced global marketing team, coordinating with the centralized Global Brands marketing team. Ensure the optimal management of marketing resources and the delivery of marketing KPIs across the portfolio of events. Budget, Financial, Business Growth, and Reporting Responsibility

Be accountable for portfolio marketing budget and spend, ensuring this delivers the required commercial results and ROI. Drive customer focus and a culture of customer-centricity across the team, ensuring all plans are underpinned by an understanding of customer needs and market dynamics. Deliver revenue and commercial performance for the portfolio, both in terms of delegate, sponsorship, and exhibitor growth. Qualifications

Proven leadership in B2B marketing, driving high-performance teams to exceed strategic goals. Extensive experience in marketing within the events industry, retail, or advertising sectors. Specialized expertise in audience development and sponsorship growth initiatives. Strong track record of mentoring and coaching teams to deliver measurable business results. Skilled in designing and implementing marketing and customer experience strategies that generate leads and revenue. Proficient in managing budgets with a data-driven, analytical approach to optimize decision-making. Consistently successful in setting, monitoring, and achieving targets and KPIs through rigorous reporting. About You
