Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to shape the future of entertainment at Amazon MGM Studios, within Prime Video and Studios Technology. Location: Culver City, CA.

A Day in the Life You’ll drive alignment across engineering, product, and operations to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure programs. You will lead technical discussions, resolve blockers, manage risks, keep stakeholders informed, and prioritize competing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Own the planning, execution, and delivery of complex service programs across Studios Technology.

Define technical program goals, success criteria, mechanisms, and artifacts.

Refine large initiatives into manageable components and drive delivery across multiple engineering teams.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally to manage dependencies and ensure coordinated execution.

Build mechanisms that scale program delivery, including dashboards, operating reviews, communication frameworks, and risk management models.

Drive resolution of technical and operational issues and, when needed, escalate for alignment and velocity.

Use data to evaluate program health and prioritize improvements in delivery speed, quality, and reliability.

Lead and facilitate technical decision‑making across multiple teams while aligning business and engineering goals.

Champion collaboration, transparency, and accountability across stakeholder groups.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of technical product or program management experience.

3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.

Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Experience building and evaluating system‑level technical design.

Experience developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.

5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation experience.

Experience defining KPI’s / SLA’s to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.

Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure and complex systems.

Experience working directly with engineering teams.

Experience designing and developing robust and scalable software and services in multimedia areas.

Experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.

About the Team The Studios Technology Services team supports media supply chain and production teams. Our Infrastructure Engineering group builds scalable, cloud‑native platforms with a focus on security, cost‑efficiency, and governance.
