Job Description Serve as the editor for Adventure Scientists’ documentary package highlighting the Hemlock census project, ensuring a compelling and visually polished final product. Responsibilities include performing advanced color correction to achieve consistent tone and mood, applying sound sweetening techniques for clear and balanced audio, and delivering a professional-quality edit that meets organizational standards.
Essential Functions
Responsible for editing and producing a polished 2-minute documentary by selecting and organizing raw footage, applying professional transitions, color correction, and audio enhancements, incorporating captions or graphics as needed, and ensuring the final cut effectively conveys the intended narrative within the allotted time frame.
Responsible for editing four short-form social media videos by selecting and refining raw clips, applying transitions, color correction, and audio balancing, adding captions, branding elements, and engaging graphics, and ensuring each piece is optimized for platform-specific formats and audience engagement.
