Role Overview As a Design Manager, you will manage large‑scale projects while leading a dynamic, forward‑thinking team. You will drive design vision, mentor designers, and deliver high‑caliber design on high‑profile hospitality, multi‑family, and commercial projects.

What You Need
Education : Bachelor’s degree in interior design (or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of experience designing creative, standout interiors.
Management Tools : Proficiency in project and financial‑management software, plus tools like Smartsheet and Bluebeam for team and project leadership.
Design Software : Mastery of Revit, CAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop.
Project Knowledge : Experience leading large‑scale projects through all phases with a proven track record for creative solutions, on‑budget planning, and award‑winning design.
Exceptional relationship‑building skills : Articulate vision, strategy, and design details to enhance teamwork, drive project success, and create lasting relationships.
Design Process : Expert industry knowledge for FFE and design phases, construction administration, and consultant management.
Client‑Centric : Build strong, positive relationships with clients, serve as a key contact, and identify business‑development opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Project Leadership : Manage timelines, budgets, and scope; delegate tasks; track progress; keep project on track.
Create & Innovate : Lead conceptual design vision and present to team and clients with clear logic.
Mentor & Coach : Guide the next generation of designers and provide feedback on standards and processes.
Quality Control : Ensure highest quality deliverables, oversee redlines, and coordinate mark‑ups to maintain design integrity.
Client & Team Collaboration : Work with leadership, clients, and team for smooth communication and timely, budget‑aligned delivery.
Compensation $90,000 - $105,000 per year, determined by education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
Work Environment Hybrid schedule: Home office Monday & Friday; in‑office Tuesday–Thursday.
