The Marketing VP leads the marketing team and the development of the marketing strategy in the Authority Brands portfolio, driving measurable growth through a balanced mix of brand building, activation and performance marketing. This role partners closely with cross functional partners at all levels with responsibility for establishing the strategy as well as driving performance with accountability for results.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership:

Be a trusted marketing advisor to franchisees and retail leadership at every level, collaborating on strategies with senior executives while supporting local execution with local management.

Marketing Strategy:

Develop, execute and maintain annual marketing plans and budgets focused on brand building, customer activation, demand generation, and performance driven initiatives aligned with business goals.

Performance Marketing Leadership : Lead a performance marketing team, driving results and anticipating potential issues, seeing opportunities to avoid challenges driven by single interest action. Collaborate closely with operation and marketing leadership to align marketing strategies with operational priorities and drive location level impact

Technology and Partnerships:

Negotiate and manage agencies and martech partners to deliver best in class execution and cost efficiency.

Demand Generation : Design and implement omnichannel campaigns that drive leads and revenue across all channels, leveraging data driven insights and marketing automation.

Performance Marketing : Champion a performance marketing mindset across all initiatives, ensuring A/B testing, attribution modeling, and ROI optimization.

360 Marketing/Activation:

Align all consumer touchpoints (digital, traditional, experiential) under one cohesive brand strategy for maximum impact.

Digital Innovation:

Challenge conventional approaches to media and digital activities to achieve innovative communication plans which optimize spend and maximize impact. Deploy advanced targeting, attribution modeling and emerging technologies to optimize spend and improve performance.

Project Management : Move projects from ideation through to completion, tracking status of projects while driving visibility to key stakeholders.

Creative Direction : Champion innovative creative ideas that resonate with target audiences that drive engagement across channels.

Analytics and Impact : Own marketing performance metrics, including forecasting, attribution and reporting to demonstrate impact/ROI and guide strategic decisions. Continuously evaluate the marketing ecosystem and challenge the status quo to drive innovation.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in marketing with MBA preferred

10+ years experience in marketing with 6+ years experience in leadership

Proven ability to balance brand marketing with performance marketing and demand generation.

Strong understanding of full funnel marketing and analytics platforms (SEO, PPC, programmatic, remarketing, Google Analytics).

Experience managing large marketing budgets and optimizing spend for ROI.

Prior experience with franchise or multi-location marketing and/or sales.

Collaborative, data driven, and innovative mindset with strong business acumen.

Developing presentation materials to highlight department programs and successes

Creating and leading agendas for cross-discipline meetings.

Strategic thinker with performance marketing mindset. A strong attention to detail and is comfortable with data, attribution and optimization.

Skilled at building relationships with leadership at all levels and translating marketing strategies into operational impact.

Able to lead both brand storytelling and conversion focused campaigns in a complex omnichannel environment.
