About the role
The Automation‑focused Project Manager’s primary goal is to become an expert user of our automation tool, streamlining the creation of local market versions of master creative assets. This role is critical in reducing production time while ensuring high‑quality, error‑free artwork. By leveraging the automation tool, the Automation Specialist will drastically cut time in producing design variations, enabling faster market readiness.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Oversee and manage the following technologies:
Brandtech+ automation tool for static marketing collaterals
Brandtech+ workflow management tool (including, but not limited to, approval, forecasting and scheduling modules)
Workflow
Master the automation and workflow tooling
Manage complex automation workflows across multiple regions, markets and languages
Follow a detailed automation process and evangelise this process across internal agency and external client teams
Oversee brief ingestion and work with Brandtech+ project managers to understand requirements
Stakeholder Management
Ensuring key client stakeholders are kept updated on the progress
Report blockers and ensure RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) are appropriately documented and reported
Guide the Brandtech+ offshore, Production Hub teams on their roles and responsibilities, processes and expectations during the entire automation process
Design Engineering and Quality Assurance
Collaborate with partner's design team to maintain creative and brand standards
Understand basic design principles and how utilizing automation will expedite the delivery processes
Efficiently brief and work with design team members
Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews
Performance Analysis and Improvement
Utilise data insights to drive performance improvements
Develop actionable recommendations for quicker and more efficient production
Vendor Collaboration and Localization
Ensure new translations are accurately integrated into the system, following the set processes maintaining consistency
Role‑specific skills, knowledge, and experience
4–6 relevant years’ experience, preferably within Digital Designer and / or Project Manager role(s)
Strong understanding of automation tools and technologies
Previous experience of automation technology
Previous experience of workflow technology including, but not limited to, approval, forecasting, resourcing and scheduling functionalities
Proven ability to manage complex workflows across multiple countries / markets and languages
Good analytical skills focused on performance improvement
Knowledge of basic design principles, with the ability to learn and adapt design tools (InDesign) in partnership with designers
Keen eye for detail in quality checking creative outputs, ensuring zero errors
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience of taking and interrogating briefs

Dedication to achieving project goals and objectives
This role will be working as part of a global team working across time zones. As such, strong time management discipline will be required as successful candidates will need to attend occasional out‑of‑hours video calls and meetings. Flexibility will be allowed to “make back” this time however (for example, if attendance of a late‑night video meeting is required, the successful candidate will have the flexibility of starting work later the following morning)
