Your Role
As a UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing core platform features for youth sports teams—everything from onboarding and tryouts to scheduling and communication tools. You’ll create intuitive, effortless experiences for thousands of users, including athletes, families, and coaches who rely on Hudl to stay organized and focused.
Responsibilities
Conduct user research to uncover latent needs and translate findings into actionable design insights.
Storytell visually and verbally by crafting compelling concepts that are differentiated and relevant to both customers and business goals.
Clarify ambiguous problem spaces by teasing out user characteristics, environments, and market expectations to support intuitive experiences.
Collabore with Engineering, Product, Design, Scrum, and Quality teams to define requirements and deliver focused digital user experiences.
Advocate for accessibility, customer needs, and design excellence throughout the product lifecycle, and measure post‑launch impact.
Must-Haves
Strong communication skills; able to present and defend ideas across cross‑functional teams.
Iterative prototyping proficiency—comfortable moving from low‑fi to high‑fi, using tools such as Figma, Miro, and AI‑powered systems.
Critical problem‑solving mindset with the ability to create innovative solutions that balance technical, business, and design constraints.
Organizational skills, including prioritization and planning at the right level of detail.
Technical proficiency in modern, component‑based design software (Figma, Miro, etc.).
Robust portfolio showcasing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and translating insights into product design.
Passion for sports technology—even if you’re not an athlete, having connections to the sports world is a plus.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: $93,000 – $155,000 USD. Starting salaries typically fall near the middle of this range. Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, and education, aligned with internal pay equity practices.
