Job Title: Packaging Designer

Overview

We’re looking for a talented Packaging Designer to create visually striking, premium‑quality packaging that elevates the customer experience. This role involves designing artwork and layouts for boxes, inserts, and printed collateral, ensuring every detail reflects brand aesthetics and communicates product information clearly.

What You’ll Do

• Design packaging components including box exteriors, inserts, and printed materials.
• Ensure brand consistency across all packaging touchpoints.
• Adapt designs for various materials, finishes, and printing techniques.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to align packaging with launches and campaigns.
• Prepare and deliver production‑ready files to vendors and review proofs for accuracy.
• Stay ahead of packaging trends and sustainability practices to bring innovative ideas.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in packaging design for premium consumer products (health tech, lifestyle, or electronics preferred).
• Expertise in print design, color management, and production workflows.
• Strong creative skills with a portfolio showcasing premium packaging work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type & Location

Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. This is a fully remote position.

Pay & Benefits

Pay range: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour.
