Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and transforming it through expert editing techniques. Your work will play a crucial role in telling our brand's story and engaging our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in both videography and post-production, with proficiency in industry-standard software.

We move fast and document a lot. The Videographer & Editor is also responsible for capturing daily content, turning it into high-performing reels, and pushing out consistent Instagram stories that feel premium but authentic. You'll be in motion daily with the Founder—filming, editing, posting, and keeping momentum.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and plan video projects.
• Film high-quality video content for various purposes, including promotional materials, social media, and internal communications.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using editing software.
• Utilize software for image editing and color correction as needed.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of completed videos.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing.
• Film and edit 3–5 reels per day.
• Keep footage organized and backed up in Google Drive and external harddrives.
• Upload edits to Asana daily and tag for review.
• Travel to events, family trips, business shoots, and document behind-the-scenes moments.
• Stay proactive—if something is happening, your instinct is to film it without waiting for direction.
• Mix high-quality camera footage with iPhone captures to keep content natural and fast-moving.
• Help direct the Founder in shots to get the best angles, lines, and flow.
• Execute the "Podcast Producer" hat for multiple podcasts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Solid understanding of post-production processes and techniques.
• Experience with filming techniques, lighting setups, and sound recording is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Fast, efficient editor with a strong eye for storytelling.
• Understands social media pacing—hook, movement, pacing > cinematic slow edits.
• Enjoys shooting lifestyle, family, business, and documentary-style content.
• Bold enough to say "Give me that again, let's do that shot this way."
• Flexible with changes to production, schedule, or concept ideas
• Willing and able to travel (mostly in the East Valley/ North Scottsdale)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $75,000.00 per year
