The Vice President, Advanced Advertising Products will lead the strategy, development, and execution of Hearst Television's digital advertising and OTT product portfolio. This role combines product development, platform integration, and engagement with the sales organization. It includes oversight of the company’s digital ad tech stack, emerging platform strategy, and ownership of revenue generated by the full array of advertising products and services.

This executive will be responsible for shaping the roadmap for digital and OTT ad products, working cross-functionally with engineering, revenue operations, and sales leadership, as well as interfacing directly with top-tier clients and partners. The position is central to Hearst Television’s modernization and digital monetization strategy and will serve as a connective point between product innovation and real‑time market conditions.

While collaboration with our linear television teams is expected, the primary focus is on scaling digital and OTT growth. The ideal candidate has a balanced background in product management, advertising platforms, and strategic revenue leadership.

AI Integration and Automation
Lead discovery and integration of AI‑driven capabilities to automate, optimize, and scale digital and OTT ad operations.

Compliance and Governance
Ensure advertising products comply with regulatory standards and internal policies across all digital and OTT executions.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred fields include Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience
10+ years in digital media, OTT advertising, product/platform management, or digital ad sales. Prior leadership experience managing sales teams a plus.

Demonstrated ability to drive digital and OTT product strategy from concept through commercialization. Familiar with pricing, packaging, and positioning of ad products.

Technical and Market Fluency
Strong understanding of ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, CTV/OTT platforms, and campaign measurement tools. Skilled at bridging technical teams and client‑facing teams.
