Job Overview We are seeking a

Community Manager

to oversee the operations and management of affordable properties in

San Diego, CA . This full‑time position includes benefits and a pay range of $26.00–$28.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of affordable multi‑family apartment communities, ensuring properties remain safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming.

Lead, mentor, and supervise on‑site apartment staff, providing guidance on customer service, leasing, and resident relations.

Manage the leasing process, including marketing available units, conducting tours, processing applications, and executing leases.

Create and maintain budgets, prepare monthly financial reports, and monitor expenditures to ensure financial performance.

Conduct regular interior and exterior inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Administer resident programs and services, building a strong apartment community and maintaining high resident satisfaction.

Oversee renovations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Ensure compliance with housing regulations.

Handle resident concerns and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

Prepare and submit annual operating budgets and conduct quarterly budget reviews.

Maintain records for all resident transactions, including move‑ins, move‑outs, rent collections, and renewals.

Foster a team‑oriented environment, working closely with corporate leadership and staff to achieve community goals.

Drive for business purposes, including bank deposits, community supplies, competitive analysis of neighboring communities, and other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

2–3 years of experience in property management, specifically managing affordable apartment communities.

Hands‑on experience overseeing daily operations of a multi‑family apartment community with strong leadership skills.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and rent collections specific to apartment communities.

Proficient with property management software such as Yardi and/or MRI.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Passionate about delivering top‑tier customer service and fostering a positive community for residents.

Physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance.
