Director of Marketing and Admissions (DOMA)
Majestic Care of Carmel is looking for a Director of Marketing and Admissions (DOMA) to join our team's mission and core values.

Position Overview The Director of Marketing and Admissions manages the community inquiry and admission process, providing customers with community-related information via tours, visits, conversations, and follow-up. The DOMA coordinates and implements effective sales and marketing programs with the team.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources.
Conduct community tours.
Manage the admission process by maintaining updated bed availability and community services information at all times.
Manage the inquiry process professionally, timely, and with appropriate follow-up.
Effectively manage occupancy levels and census/premium mix enhancement.
Make calls to outside community professionals, senior organizations, and referral sources to advise on bed availability and new products/services.
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and maintain a current database of potential sources.
Utilize company’s sales practices and tracking tools.
Alert appropriate department heads and community staff of projected changes through daily admission meetings.
Utilize bed management principles.
Maintain a close working relationship with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and Business Office Manager (BOM) to ensure efficient admission decisions.
Recommend admission decisions to community management.
Coordinate the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans, chair the marketing team meetings, monitor budgets and track results.
Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and reimbursement guidelines (Medicare and Medicaid).
Qualifications
Associate and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications field preferred.
Two years equivalent experience in a sales/marketing position or admissions coordinator position in lieu of a degree.
Previous healthcare community relations experience preferred.
