Randstad, in partnership with our client, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Manager, Owned Content
to be a pivotal leader in our Digital Marketing team. You will own the content strategy and execution across our most critical e-commerce channels, primarily
Amazon
and our
Owned Websites (.com / .ca) .
This role is the key connection point between our brand vision, consumer needs, agency partners, and cross-functional teams, ensuring all content assets are high‑performing, optimized for search, and engineered for maximum consumer engagement and conversion.
Key Responsibilities Amazon E-Commerce Content Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus)
Strategy & Planning:
Lead and own the creation and implementation of the North America Amazon 360 Strategic Plan (Organic).
Agency & Stakeholder Management:
Manage crucial relationships with the Integrated Agency Team, Amazon Ads, Sales Teams, and other external partners.
Content Optimization:
Oversee the comprehensive content strategy and execution for Amazon, ensuring alignment with customer and category needs across all Amazon e‑commerce properties.
Digital Shelf Management:
Manage the agency to develop and execute a holistic Digital Shelf Plan, including:
SEO product titles and copy.
Above‑the‑Fold (ATF) and Below‑the‑Fold (BTF) Premium A+ and Enriched Content.
Management of all US and Canadian Brand Stores (ASIN refreshes, layout updates, new pages).
Performance & Testing:
Collaborate with the agency and Creative Team to
A/B test
creative assets to maximize conversion. Serve as the
Subject Matter Expert (SME)
for performance marketing reporting and insights between Amazon and Retail Leads.
Owned Websites (.com / .ca) Strategy & Optimization
Architecture & Usability:
Own the North American website architecture, strategy, and execution, including page creation, consumer flow, and usability.
Content Deployment:
Coordinate the deployment of owned content, including localization and translation across different markets.
Global Collaboration:
Act as the
Key Point of Contact (KPOC)
with global and cross‑functional teams regarding website architecture needs.
SEO Leadership:
Own and lead the technical and on‑page SEO strategy, including roadmap deliverables, keyword research, competitive assessments, and site audits.
Optimization:
Identify and design opportunities for site optimization focused on improving the consumer digital experience.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, E‑Commerce Management, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field such as Digital Marketing Agency, E‑commerce Platform, Marketing Research, or Data Analysis (with a Bachelor’s degree).
