Summary We are seeking a skilled Technical Designer & Production Patternmaker with strong CAD experience to support our growth, internal pattern library, and Miami based factory operations.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30am
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in technical apparel design and product development Proficiency in CAD software (Lectra preferred), such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, TukaTech, etc., and willingness to learn Lectra
Develop markers for optimal fabric yield and cutting accuracy
Troubleshoot digital pattern issues and maintain clean, organized file structures
Manage and update pattern libraries and variant databases across multiple product categories
Understanding and mastery of fit, patternmaking, grading, fabric performance, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
Ability to translate design sketches and concepts into accurate patterns, tech packs, and measurement specs (in collaboration with the design department)
Manage and maintain the Style Library, ensuring all grading rules align with company standards
Collaborate with the design team to approve fabrics, trims, and construction details
Support the development of new silhouettes
Passion for precision, problem-solving, and contributing to a high-performance environment
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
Proficiency in Excel
Education
Bachelor’s degree in fine arts required – preferably in the field of Fashion Design
