We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Creditors’ Rights Attorneys to join our dynamic legal team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5-12 years of experience in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation, with a proven track record of effectively representing financial institutions and lenders. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and challenging legal matters within a collaborative and supportive environment, with a clear path for professional growth. Portable business a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload involving commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy matters. Represent financial institutions and lenders in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, and trials. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to loan workouts, forbearance agreements, foreclosures, and debt enforcement. Provide sound legal counsel to clients regarding compliance, risk management, and creditor remedies. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs. Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and staff to develop effective legal strategies. Assist with the mentorship of junior staff and business development initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar. 5-12 years of relevant experience in commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, or bankruptcy law. The position requires proven motion and courtroom experience, strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills. The ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines is also essential.
