PRIMARY FUNCTION The VP of Marketing drives marketing operations and new patient acquisition across PAFC, managing Regional Marketing Managers and overseeing all campaigns from acquisition through retention. Partnering closely with the SVP of Patient Engagement and Retention, this role spans acquisition, brand, digital, marketing technology, creative, and analytics — building marketing as a measurable growth engine.

Acquisition Strategy and Execution Own new patient acquisition strategy through integrated campaigns.
Build a digital-first acquisition engine: GEO, SEO/SEM and paid media.
Partner with market presidents to enable Regional Marketing Managers to develop market-specific growth plans based on local dynamics and clinic capacity.
Drive provider reputation management, community partnerships, and sponsorships that generate qualified leads.
Provide marketing support for programs like our newborn program (operations managed by SVP Patient Engagement and Retention).
Regional Marketing Leadership Lead and manage Regional Marketing Managers who own both acquisition and retention metrics at market level, with executive presence to independently manage relationships with market presidents and practice managers.
Empower managers with budget ownership and accountability for retention rates, new patient acquisition, and value-based care membership growth.
Develop standardized campaign templates for rapid local deployment.
Ensure managers monitor daily performance metrics (retention by clinic, new patient acquisition, fill rates, campaign effectiveness).
Marketing Operations and Campaign Execution Partner with SVP of Patient Engagement and Retention (who defines retention strategy) to execute campaigns and measure performance; maintain weekly strategic sync for campaign calendar and resource coordination.
Oversee martech stack, creative services, and omni-channel execution (email, SMS, digital, paid media, direct mail, in-clinic materials).
Manage a digital marketing team serving both acquisition and patient engagement needs.
Ensure brand consistency while enabling Regional Marketing Manager flexibility for local relevance.
Implement acquisition funnel analytics and attribution modeling to optimize marketing spend.
Digital and Brand Leadership Oversee website platform, digital presence (SEO/SEM, paid search, social media, content marketing), and brand architecture as PAFC consolidates acquired brands.
Create comprehensive dashboards showing acquisition, campaign performance, retention support metrics, and ROI by channel and region.
Drive martech decisions by ensuring Regional Marketing Managers have tools for daily performance monitoring.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct oversight of marketing team members.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant subject area required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
EXPERIENCE:
7+ years of progressive marketing experience required.
5+ years directly managing/leading a marketing team required.
Proven track record building and managing distributed regional marketing teams with measurable acquisition and retention growth required.
Strong digital marketing expertise (SEO/SEM, paid media, marketing automation, analytics) and healthcare marketing regulations (HIPAA) preferred.
Executive presence to partner with C-suite and clinical leadership; skilled at leading through others and empowering teams to own preferred outcomes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Expert in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush); familiarity with healthcare CRM and EHR systems preferred.
Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics, interpret complex data, and pivot strategies based on insights.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex digital marketing strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Creative problem-solver who brings innovative approaches to patient acquisition and engagement while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Thrives in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS This position is remote, with travel up to 30%.
Due to the national footprint of the company, some meetings will be held outside local working hours to accommodate regional time zone preferences.
