- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance as needed.
- Follow all established protocols for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting relevant to a technology-driven environment.
- Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation procedures and communication with emergency services as directed by site protocols.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
