As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Unarmed Rounds** in **Crystal City, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or unusual circumstances within the location, following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and employees as needed while performing patrol duties.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site procedures.
- Assist with access control and/or visitor management in accordance with site guidelines.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
