Base pay range $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr
Responsibilities
Set design vision and strategy: Define and articulate design direction for large, multi-platform initiatives, aligning user needs with business goals
Grow and mentor design talent: Provide coaching, feedback, and career guidance to designers while maintaining high design standards
Lead cross-functional collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership to advocate for user-centered decisions and manage competing priorities
Drive complex experience design: Oversee omnichannel user journeys and ensure consistency across devices, platforms, and touchpoints
Establish design standards: Create and maintain design principles, patterns, and quality guidelines that support scalable and maintainable solutions
Oversee prototyping and validation: Direct high-fidelity prototyping efforts and collaborate with research teams to incorporate user insights
Support design system evolution: Contribute to advancing the design system, including pattern development and governance practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Advanced degree in design, HCI, or related field is preferred
6-10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role
Experience leading and mentoring design teams
Portfolio demonstrating strategic contributions and impact on complex projects
Strong presentation and communication skills with senior stakeholders
Deep knowledge of modern UI trends, tools, and technologies
Advanced proficiency in design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC)
Expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
Proven success working across product, research, and engineering teams
Experience with design strategy, planning, and resource management
Background designing for web, mobile, and emerging platforms
Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities
Strong leadership presence and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large-scale or highly complex product environments
Expertise in visual design principles and systems (typography, layout, color)
Experience with user research and testing methodologiesFamiliarity with front-end technologies across major platforms
