Job Summary The Senior Production Artist works with creative teams to produce high-quality content for digital and print advertising. Senior Production Artists are the final checkpoint in the creative design process. They review the final copy, layouts, and content in print or digital form, ensuring brand standards across color, font, production quality, and more.
Skills Needed
Create a finished product that meets organizational branding goals
Meticulous and goal oriented with sharp attention to detail
Understanding of content design and digital creation for web
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with art directors, designers, and developers
Package and preflight files for release to vendors or media partners
Catalog files, maintaining our established naming process and folder structure
Content authoring for web using proprietary CMS and general web building applications
Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are completed on time
Employ efficiency standards to deliver final product
Able to adapt to project changes through optimization of workflow
Prepare press‑ready files based on supplied specifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred
Significant coursework in graphic design, visual arts or related field acceptable
Outstanding portfolio demonstrating clear knowledge of production and design
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Figma
Demonstrate creative thinking and innovative approach
Must be a great team player open to constructive feedback
Location Chicago, IL
Salary Range $65,000 – $75,000
Employment Type Full‑time, hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote
